What happened:
• Jovial genius Fry secured
a first round lead with his chosen game of Hungry Hippopotami,
thrashing Hawking 3-0.
• Broken robot Hawking came back with
Tetris: securing a decisive victory against Fry whom he cruelly
described as ‘all fingers and thumbs'.
• In a nail-biting
final round of chess, the cerebral Steves looked destined
to draw: until an eclipse of the sun breathed new life into
space-mad Hawking, and with a few quick moves he took Fry’s
queen. Victory for Hawkers was inevitable.
Winner: Hawking took the
belt home and
had it made into a hub cap.
