A cautionary tale from a worried Lucas Snout.
Dead man speeding.

Shockly horroringtons hit London’s top funeral directors Pile and Sons inside their wallets at their Beak Street offices this week when they received a speeding ticket from the police for going too fast in their hearse.

Legally, funeral directors are required by law to drive at under 10mph. Driving more fastly than this and the deaths it may cause can be seen as trying to drum up business, and so hearses must always go dead slow.

Steve Pile, head driver for Pile & Sons had been doing a whopping 20mph past another car in Wapping when the speed cameras got him caught out speeding on their camera. Steve had been driving at twice the usual speed in a bid to make up dead man-hours because of staff shortages, the jury heard with its 24 ears.

Idiotica says…
This underhand overacting about undertakers overtaking underlies the overbearing overtime these overworked undertakers undertake. In this case the undertaker had to undergo an overtaking on the overpass to overcome understaffing – which was understandable under the circumstances.
