Presentation
of the breakfast plate is not something
to take lightly over. Much quarrels
and many has been because of this
topic.
- Is it eggs
beside toast?
- Does one sprig
with parsley?
- Do you use the
sausage
as a buffer against the bean
juice?
- Who's knows?
Not mine. Suffice to
say for as many breakfasts cooked
on a Sunday mornings as many different
ways of presentation exist. Yes they
do. To help you get it just "right"
breakfast-wise we have devised
this very own print off and cut out
and keeped paper breakfast piece set*
so you can practice till perfect
your breakfast plate presentation.
When entertaining at
breakfast have the table set with
bright breakfast cloth, covered in
gay coloured eggs,
knife and fork for bacon
both and a butter knife for every
butterer. If grapefruit be served
then serve it at each person with
pointed spoon into their face. Set
everything in place before you sit
down so that you do not have to rise
in the middle of your trousers.
When boiled eggs
are wanted, you can prepare them at
the table (with Bunsen burner, small
saucepan and hot water), or bring
them in before you announce "breakfast
is ready" in a loud and irritated
manner. |
